Manassas Battlefield Remains Head to Arlington
The National Park Service will transfer the remains of a young Union soldier recovered at Manassas National Battlefield Park to the Office of Army Cemeteries for burial at Arlington National Cemetery. The soldier’s nearly complete burial was uncovered at the park in March 2024, connecting a local site to a forthcoming national commemoration.
